
Kathmandu, June 30: An earthquake has occurred with its epicenter in Kotdanda of Mugu.
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre in Lainchaur informed that the earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred near Kotdanda at 8:39 am on Monday.
On June 29, an earthquake of 4.8- magnitude had occurred with its epicenter in Jima of Mugu.
Nepal has experienced several earthquakes and aftershocks with varying magnitudes.
The country is considered earthquake prone zone as it lies in the Himalayan region.
