Baitadi, Sept 16: A landslide that occurred this morning at Salsena in Dogadakedar-5 has blocked the Mahakali Highway, disrupting transportation.
According to local resident Sher Singh Karki, the landslide is massive and has completely halted traffic along the route. As a result, road connectivity from Baitadi to Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi, Kathmandu, as well as the district headquarters, has been cut off. Many travelers are reportedly stranded midway.
Meanwhile, traffic along the Jaya Prithvi Highway has resumed after being temporarily disrupted by a landslide at Musyakhan on the Khodpe–Bajhang road section, according to Police Inspector Balaram Pandey.
