Itahari, July 20: Two boys drowned in a river, Tyangrakhola, while swimming. The incident occurred at Itahari Sub-Metropolis-3 on Sunday afternoon.
Those losing life while swimming were Dipsan Chaudhary,8, from Kalyanchowk of Itahari Sub-Metropolis-3, and Kribas Limbu, 11, originally from Chainpur of Sankhuwasabha and currently staying with relatives in the same locality, according to police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at Area Police Office, Itahari, Laxmi Bhandari, informed that although both of the boys were rescued and rushed to Birat Teaching Hospital, they were declared dead in no time.
