Chandrapur (Rautahat), June 25: Two children have drowned in the septic tank of a toilet in Binuwatol of Chandrapur Municipality-10.
Two-year-old Ranje Sah and two-year-old Khushbu Sah of the same locality drowned in the incident that took place last night, according to Rajkumar Rai, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Area Police Office Chandranigahapur.
They were playing at the house of local Hridaya Paswan when the incident took place.
Both children died during treatment at Chandranigahpur Hospital, police said.
