Kathmandu, May 15: The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has called on community schools to continue classes even during the summer or winter vacations to make up for classes that students missed due to the Kathmandu-based teachers' protests.
According to the Ministry, it feels the need to run classes during the periodic vacations bearing in mind those academic schedules disrupted by the agitation launched throughout the month in April, 2025.
It has, through the press statement, urged all the local levels, schools and the stakeholders concerned to ensure a special coordination, facilitation and collaboration with schools and teachers so that they could secure a significant improvement in schools' deliveries and student's learning.
