Kathmandu, Dec 14: Kathmandu Gurkhas has defeated Pokhara Adventures by six wickets in today's match held under Nepal Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament.
In the match held at TU Cricket Ground, Kathmandu Gurkhas won the match in 14.1 overs at the loss of four wickets. Pokhara Adventures had posted a 139-run victory target before Kathmandu Gurkhas.
For Kathmandu's victory, Stephen Eskinazi scored the highest 60 runs in 34 balls with 10 fours as well as Michael Levitt 32, Gerhard Erasmus 25 (not out) and Bhim Sarki 22 runs.
For Pokhara, Bipin Khatri took three wickets while Michael Leask one wicket.
Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Pokhara Adventures made 138 runs at the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For Pokhara Adventures, Raymon Reifer gathered 41 runs in 30 balls with three sixes and one boundary. Similarly, Dinesh Kharel collected 38 runs and Dilip Nath 27 runs while other players could not score double digit runs.
Towards bawling, Kathmandu Gurkhas's Captain Karan KC and Rashid Khan took three wickets each while Gerhard Erasmu and Michael Levitt one wicket each.
