The records for the month-long collection of financial and material offerings at Kotihom at the Pashupati temple have been made public.

According to Krishna Murti, total sum of 20 crores 88 lakh 32 thousand 794 rupees and 38 paisa was spent on the month-long event.
However, a total of 20 crores, 15 lakhs, 82 thousand, 490 rupees, and 15 paisa of donations equivalent in cash were received at Kotihom, which was held from July 16 to August 16 in Pashupatinath premises, he informed.
It was revealed that 1.5 to 2 crore rupees had still to be collected from the Mahayagya.
On the other side, the police have verified that Kotihom's organizer, Vijay Bhandari, aka Vijay Krishna Murthi Maharaj, obtained a forged character certificate from them.
After reports of his involvement in illicit activities surfaced during the Pashupati Kotihom Mahayagya, he shared his character certificate.
Following that, the police established a commission to investigate the matter. The investigation revealed that the police had issued a bogus character certificate.
The police are preparing to take action against workers who provide character certifications.
