The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index saw a notable surge of 78.17 points today, the last trading day of the week.
The market index increased by 78.17 points and closed at 2688.38 points. The sensitive index, which assesses the performance of 'A' class companies climbed by 13.40 points and reached 478.48. Out of 13 sub-groups, share price of 12 sub-groups increased while the share price of one sub-group plunged.
A total of 19.433 units of share were traded at Rs 8.1692 billion. According to NEPSE, share price of Win Nepal Microfinance, Green Ventures Limited, Eastern Hydropower, Rawa Energy recorded a 10 per cent gain in their share value.
Similarly, investors of Asian Hydropower earned 9.99 per cent in their share value.
The share price of Three Star Hydropower plunged by 10 per cent followed by Sanima Large Cap Fund by 8.49 per cent, RBB Mutual Fund-2 by 4.1 per cent, Sunrise Fast Mutual Fund by 3.71 per cent and Sanima Growth Fund by 3.65 per cent.
