
Yamlal Khanal, appointed as the Chief Attorney of the Lumbini Province government, took an oath of office and secrecy today.
High Court, Tulsipur's Chief Judge Nityananda Pandey administered him the oath amidst a programme at the Butwal-based Office of the Province Chief. Khanal took the oath in the presence of Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar.
Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya, Speaker Tularam Ghartimagar, Deputy Speaker Menuka Khand KC, and other senior officials were also present.
Khanal, a resident of Butwal Sub metropolis-9 was appointed to the post on August 22 by the Province Chief on the recommendation of Chief Minister Acharya. The appointment was made in accordance with Article 160 (2) of the Constitution.
