Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Bidya Bhattarai, has made it clear that there would be no political protection to hooliganism taking place in the universities.
Talking to media persons at Bharatpur airport this morning, Minister Bhattarai pointed out the need of controlling such violent activities taking place in academic institution.
She mentioned that security was demanded with Home Minister to curb the hooliganism that took place in the Tribhuvan University. It was not politics but rowdy ruckus at TU, she reminded.
Sharing that destructive activities and criminalization are not acceptable in the universities, the Education Minister explained, "Gangster and thugs must be tamed by avoiding political protection to their activities."
