Death Toll Reaches 7 In Baglung Landslides, 4 Rescued Alive

The death toll from separate landslides today in Baglung has reached seven while four have been rescued alive.

Two were killed when the landslide buried a house at Badigad rural municipality-9 this morning and the landslide at Badigad rural municipality-10 resulted in the deaths of five, police said. The landslide at Badigad-10 buried the house of Joglal Budha of Aarupata.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer, Chitrangat Baral, four have been rescued alive from the landslide debris and two are said to be injured severely.
