Artists are supposed to serve as both reflectors and guides for society. Those who expose the country's religious, cultural, social, economic, and other activities via different kinds of art criticize distortions and contradictions.
Diwakar Bhandari, also known as Sapati Kaka, has been drawn to the arts since an early age and has used his acting and directing abilities to warn against social distortions and oddities. He has written, acted in, and directed the famous comedy teleserial 'Meri Bassai', which airs weekly on Nepal Television and features singing, dancing, and acting. He has previously worked on big-screen blockbusters.
