Kathmandu Institute of Technology Concludes Tech Expo And Essay Writing Competition

The Kathmandu Institute of Technology Tech Expo 2080 has concluded in Kathmandu.

Tech Expo 2080 was also held at Kathmandu Institute of Technology to commemorate the awarding of prizes in essay writing competition. Tech Expo 2080 featured an exhibition of numerous projects and innovations developed by Kathmandu Institute of Technology students pursuing a Diploma in Engineering program.

The prize distribution ceremony for Kathmandu district-level essay writing competition, organized by the Kathmandu Institute of Technology and the Private and Boarding School Association (PABSON), focused on Technical Education: Pathway to Continuous Education, Innovation, and Professional Success was also organized during the expo. Mr. Khagendra Prasad Adhikari, Vice Chairperson of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), presided over the award distribution ceremony for the essay competition.

Mr. Sushil Bhandari, a grade 10 student of  Tilingatar Secondary School, won the competition with a first prize of Rs. 20,000 and a scholarship of 75% of the tuition fees to pursue a Diploma in Engineering at Kathmandu Institute of Technology.

Similarly, Riya Thapa of Kamana Higher Secondary School and Kusum Nepali of Laxmipur Secondary School finished second and third, respectively. They received cash payments of Rs 12,500 and Rs 7,500, as well as 50% of the study fees for a Diploma in Engineering at Kathmandu Institute of Technology.

Similarly, as consolation prizes, Srijita Adhikari of Rhododendron International, Sneha Bhandari of North Valley Boarding School, Sagun G.C. of Ganga Secondary School, and Srijak G.C. of Amar English Secondary School, received a cash prize of Rs 2,500 and 25% of the study cost has been awarded as a scholarship for an engineering diploma from Kathmandu Institute of Technology.

In addition, all essay competition participants received a 15% tuition price grant to study a Diploma in Engineering at the Kathmandu Institute of Technology. Siddharth Bank Limited funded all of the essay competition's monetary awards, while Kathmandu Institute of Technology sponsored the scholarship.
