In the ongoing ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, India set a target of 298 runs for Nepal in the Super Sixes match held at the Mangaung Oval Cricket Ground in South Africa on Friday.
After winning the toss, India chose to bat first, posting a score of 297 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
Sachin Das emerged as the top scorer for India, contributing 116 runs in just 101 balls, including 11 fours and three sixes. Captain Uday Saharan also played a crucial innings, making 100 runs off 97 balls, with nine boundaries. Adarsh Sinha added 21 runs, Priyanshu Moliya scored 19, and Arshin Kulkarni contributed 18 , while Musahar Khan scored 9.
For Nepal, Gulshan Jha was the standout performer, claiming three wickets, while Aakash Chand secured one wicket.
