A truck has knocked down two school students in Gajuri rural municipality-2, Malekhu of Dhading district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office Shanti Lal Prasad Jaiswal informed that school student duo, Nirmal Shrestha and Sanjeeb Shrestha of Siddhalek rural municipality-6 died on the spot when the truck hit them.
The truck (Province 02-001 B 6413) en route to Chitwan from Kathmandu had knocked the students this morning.
Both the deceased were studying in grade 8 in Bageswori Secondary School.
Demanding compensation, the irate locals have obstructed the vehicular operations along the Prithvi Highway.
