The month of June is observed across the world as Pride Month. Pride began with the concept of embracing one's gender identity or sexual identity because society dismisses and stigmatizes sexual minority groups. Pride Parade refers to the gathering and rallying event held to mark Pride Month.
Similarly, a pride parade has been organised in Kathmandu today. Youths assembled in Shanti Batika and marched the parade to Narayan Chaur.
