Bal Krishna Khand, former Home Minister and Nepali Congress leader detained in connection with the fake Bhutanese refugees scam, has claimed that he has no involvement in the case.
Leaving the public prosecutor's office today, media approached him and asked if he has anything say.
To which Khand replied, 'I have no role in this.'
Khand was presented before the Kathmandu District Court for the extension of his detention. Police has asked additional four days of detention from the Court, to carry out further investigation.
Khan was detained last Thursday after preliminary investigations pointed towards his involvement in the scam.
In addition to Khan, a dozen others have been arrested in connection to this case.
