The Rastriya Swatantra Party has expelled Dhaka Kumar Shrestha from the party.

The meeting of the central committee of the RSP held today took action against MP Shrestha.

Following the audio release of a 20 million rupees deal with businessman Durga Prasain, the party suspended Shrestha as an ordinary member.

However, Shrestha remains firm on his statement that the audio is a well-planned conspiracy against him and make the party lose the by-election.

Speaking to the media at the party's central office on Wednesday, he claimed that the audio was not true and was highly edited.

Party Chair Lamichhane informed me that the party has canceled the position of Shrestha and decided to appoint Bindabasini Kansakar as MP.
