The government has formed a committee to carry out a study of the structural and managerial aspects of the state-owned Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
A five-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of former Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dipendra Bahadur Chhetri. Om Gurung (captain), Tikaram Rai (media person), Piyus Anand (chartered accountant) and Sahara Neupane are members of the committee.

The NAC currently operates with two wide-body A330 and two narrow-body A320 aircraft for international flights and two Twin-Otter planes for domestic flights.
