The Nepalese Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) has decided to register with the Election Commission (EC) in order to compete in the April 23 by-election.
According to party work execution committee member Keshav Jha, a meeting of the LSP's work execution committee held on Thursday decided to register the party for the purpose of a by-election.
The committee has also resolved to submit the party's candidacy in the upcoming by-election in Bara seat no. 2 in order to ensure the party's dignified status in the current government.
