PM Dahal Announces Rs 300,000 Reward for Each Winning Cricketer

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has announced to felicitate Nepali cricketers selected for One-day Men's World Cup qualifiers with a cash prize of Rs 300,000.

Prime Minister Prachanda announced the award while honoring the winning players at the official residence in Baluwatar on Friday morning.

The country's self-esteem has risen, as has its sense of pride. "May your performance improve in the coming days; I extend my best wishes in advance," the Prime Minister remarked while congratulating the players.

Prime Minister Prachanda has pledged to urge the National Sports Council to build modern floodlights and scoreboards at the Kirtipur cricket stadium as soon as possible.

"In this regard, I also emphasize the Nepal government's resolve to make the necessary provisions to expedite the development of cricket stadiums under construction around the nation, particularly Mulpani and Chitwan," he added.
