Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has called on all Maoist Movement groupings and divisions to come together.

Today in an interaction program, organised by the Foundation of Children of Martyrs and Disappeared Fighters, he urged all the groups affiliated to the Maoist Movement to gather together for party unity.

Prachanda stated that, while the Maoist Movement has not grown weak, there is a renewed need for unity since the Movement's effect has weakened as a result of the Movement's splits and divisions.

"The government has been one after the other carrying out works like honouring the People's War, the People's Movement and those who attained martyrdom and who were made to disappear in these movements. The reactionaries have been terrorized by this. They are once again fearing the Maoists and are throwing invectives against the Maoist Movement," he said.

The Prime Minister also urged all the Maoist groups to come to a single place and make commitment to fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of the martyrs and the disappeared persons. If we can do this, it would be the day of victory, he said.

Maoist leaders Leaders Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Netra Bikram Chand, Dharmendra Bastola among others who were together during the People's War period were also present on the occasion.
