CPN-UML ministers have submitted their resignations before Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today.
The 8 Ministers including CPN-UML Vice Chair and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel tendered resignation to the Prime Minister at his official residence in Baluwatar.
Ministers who joined the incumbent government from the CPN-UML were Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Paudel, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Jwala Kumari Sah, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Rajendra Rai, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal, Minister for Health and Population Padam Giri, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen Bhagawati Chaudhary and Minister for Defence Hari Prasad Uptreti.
Now there are only Maoists and Janmat Party in the Prachanda led goverment . In the 6-party coalition, RJP was not part of the government, while the other three UML, RPP and RSP have left the government.
