UML seeks clear stance on presidential election from Maoist Centre

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and UML Chair KP Sharma Oil hold a meet to discuss upcoming presidential election.

In the meeting at Singhadarbar, matters related to the presidential election was discussed to exclude the mistrust within the ruling coalition.

Oli reached Singhadarbar, after the party’s secretariat meeting, to get assurance from Prime Minister ‘Prachanda’ for the next president.

The upcoming presidential elections have raised distrust within the ruling coalition. The major power partner UML has been suspicious, as Congress expressed its aspirations for the President.

Prime Minister ‘Prachanda’ and Oli have been discussing the issue at their meeting for a few days.

The discussion between Prime Minister and Oli was held before the meeting of high-level political mechanisms of the ruling party, which is scheduled for Thursday.
