RSP quits government, recalls ministers

The National Independent Party has reached a decision to quit the government.

The joint meeting of Party’s Central Committee and the parliamentary party held at the party office, today, decided to recall all its ministers from government.

The party took the decision after Prime Minister Dahal’s refusal to give Ministry of Home Affairs to Rabi Lamichhane. President of the RSP, Rabi Lamichhane met Prime Minister Dahal before the meeting.

It is reported that the Prime Minister did not agree to the proposal made by RSP Chair Lamichhane in the meeting.

RSP has decided to quit the government while maintaining its support to the government.
