Head of Forensic Medicine Department of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Dr Gopal Kumar Chaudhary informed that the bodies of 14 people brought to Kathmandu are yet to be identified.

According to Chaudhary, it was difficult to identify the bodies through forensic methods because the bodies were burnt.

"We have a problem to identify the dead body through forensic method because the body was burned excessively", he said.

According to him, if the body cannot be identified through forensic methods, it must be identified through DNA testing. The head of the department said that the DNA test of the body will be done in the laboratory of the Nepal Police.

He informed that it will take at least 22 days to identify the body through DNA test.
