Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' stated that the traditional handicraft sector will be expanded to all seven provinces of Nepal in his tenure.
Addressing the 42nd Annual Meeting of Federation of Nepal Handicrafts held in Lalitpur on Friday, Prime Minister said that he have taken some steps for economic development and prosperity right from the first meeting of the cabinet.
Prime Minister Prachanda added, “Handicraft sector is an organic sector of Nepal. This sector has unlimited potential. If this sector is developed well, on one hand, the trade deficit can be reduced and on the other hand, Nepali authentic traditions can be projected all over the world. Therefore, the government is committed to expand the handicraft industry in all seven provinces."
