
Kathmandu, June 13: Chef Santosh Shah has been arrested by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office on charges of cheque bounce.
He was taken into custody from Mahottari last night after obtaining permission from the District Court in Kathmandu. He was brought to the capital this morning, confirmed Office's Police Inspector Sarat Kumar Thapa Chhetri.
He is accused of issuing a dishonoured cheque in connection with the purchase of a restaurant at Gairidhara, Kathmadu, it is said.
