The Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sight Group and the Grande Social Fund to launch a School and Community-Based Eye Care Program in Panchkhal and Kolhavi Municipalities.
The Sight Group, composed of retired UN professionals, and the Grande Social Fund, which has supported education and social initiatives in the region for nearly a decade, will collaborate with Tilganga on outreach efforts.
The program will focus on raising awareness about eye health, providing free eye protection items like sunglasses, and offering eye care services to underserved communities.
The partners are committed to executing the program on schedule and plan to expand the initiative to other regions in the future.
