Chinese Tourist Found Dead At A Kathmandu Hostel

A Chinese tourist was found dead at Thamel on Saturday evening. The 47-year-old tourist, Wao Gwang, was found dead in his room at Nepalaya Home Hostel, according to Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Kumodh Dhungel.

Gwang had been staying in Nepalaya Home Hostel, Thamel since January 24. Police team reached the Hostel after receiving information on the incident.

Dhungel further informed that the dead body was taken to TU Teaching Hospital for postmortem. No evidence on cause of Gwang's death was found at site. Investigation into the incident is underway, police added.
