Cricketer Airee Promoted Following His World Record In Asian Games

Dipendra Singh Airee, the national cricket team's all-rounder who set a world record in men's cricket at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, has been promoted to Assistant Head Constable.

In a match against Mongolia, player Airee set a world record by scoring a half-century off 9 balls on On 27 September.

Airee set a record by hitting eight sixes in nine balls and scoring two runs on one ball.  Earlier, Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle and Hazratullah Zazai scored half a century off 12 balls each.

Player Airi has been affiliated with the Nepal Police since 2016. Earlier, he was a police constable.
