Matthew Alex Jones, a 48-year-old American citizen, has died while undergoing treatment after suddenly collapsing during a walk this morning in Sedi, Pokhara Metropolitan City-18, Kaski.
He was immediately rescued from the scene with the help of locals and taken to Metrocity Hospital, and the doctors pronounced him dead shortly thereafter.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Kumar Paswan of the District Police Office, Kaski, said that the body has been sent to the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences for a post-mortem examination. He stated that the cause of death would be revealed following the post-mortem.
Police said that the investigation revealed the deceased American citizen had been staying at the home of one Damodar Pahari in Sedi for the past month.
