
Seven more Nepali citizens who served in the Russian military have lost their lives.
On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement confirming the deaths of seven additional Nepali citizens serving in the Russian army.
Purna Bahadur Gurung of Dhading, Naveen Shahi of Jajarkot, Padam Bahadur Ghimire of Udaypur, Gangaram Adhikari of Jhapa, Jit Bahadur BK of Baglung, Sanjay KC of Banke, and Sundar Moktan of Rasuwa were among those killed, according to the ministry.
According to the ministry, the government is focusing its diplomatic efforts on returning Nepalis who have joined the Russian army to their home country.
In addition, the Russian government has been asked to offer reparation to the families of Nepalis who died and to treat the injured.
