Nepal Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ashok Singh has resigned from the post.
Singh, who was also the head of Sudurpashchim Province Police Office, reached police headquarters on Wednesday and submitted his resignation.
With the resignation of Singh, who was the candidate for Inspector General of Police, now DIG Tek Prasad Rai, Vasant Kunwar, Deepak Thapa are in the race for Inspector General.
