At least six people were killed and 10 others injured in a bus accident in Daunne, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat–Susta East), along the East-West Highway this morning.
According to Anil Pandit, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Nawalparasi, the bus was en route to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj when it met with an accident at S Mode in Triveni Rural Municipality–2, Daunne.
The injured were taken to Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital for treatment. The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.
