Supreme Court has ordered Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) to manage garbage of Singha Durbar and Office of the President within three days.
On Friday, a single bench of justice Prakash Man Singh of the SC issued an interim order to KMC to collect the garbage and manage them within three days from the day of the issuance of the verdict.
KMC mayor Balen Shah, outraged at the government's lack of cooperation in his goal to remove squatters from river banks, refused to manage garbage from Singha Durbar and the president's office.
